The Corporate Council was originally the governing body of Waymuth City, made up of members from each of the corporations that helped found Waymuth City. In January of 2060 it ceded power to the City Council and became an advisory board only. Many citizens of Waymuth City still believe that the Corporate Council is where the real power lies.
